Teaching can be easy and fun

Why shouldn't you have fun while you teach your kids the abcs, how to count or what animal says moo. I think that kids learn best when they are having fun. I am setting out to teach my one and a half year old. I want to teach him how to be a good friend, how to show love, all the animals that live on a farm and so much more. I am writing this blog not even knowing if anyone will read it but hoping someone will find inspiration to have fun while teaching their toddler.

Jelly Bean
Lesson- Colors, I would do four to five colors for younger kids.
For older kids I would do as many as possible (different shades
too). Put all your jelly beans in a bowl and start sorting. Use
smaller bowl or ice cub tray. When you are done with the colors
you can do counting and patterns.
Game- Jelly bean toss. Grab your jelly beans and try to
toss them into a jar. Shot the color you are throwing. Don't
forget to eat a few as you play.
Activity- Go to a candy store
Books- Numbers (jelly belly), Shapes (jelly belly)

Jet
Lesson- What is a jet? Is it more like an airplane or a
helicopter? Why?
Craft- Jet craft.
Game- Go out side and pretend like you are jets flying.
Go really fast for a jet. Then be planes and go slower. Also
try being helicopter.
Books- Jay jay the jet plane.
